The department seeks instructors for Spring 2026 to teach:
Sociology/Anthropology of Mental Health & Illness
Social Problems (online)
Additional survey or upper-level courses may be assigned based on expertise.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and present course material
Create and post a course syllabus
Hold office hours and respond to student communications
Conduct and grade assessments in a timely manner
Submit final grades
Other duties as assigned (up to 20% departmental service)
Minimum:
Ph.D. or terminal degree strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
University-level teaching experience highly desired
Preferred:
Prior teaching experience in sociology/anthropology or related fields
