Duties and responsibilities
  • Organizing and holding lectures and seminars in the field of history of medicine and ethics in medicine at all the levels of higher education in Estonian and English language.
  • Supervising students of the first and second level of higher education.
  • Activities related to administration and development of teaching.
  • Participating in research activities of the institute.
  • Research in the volume equivalent to at least 1/3 of doctoral thesis in five years.
  • Developing skills necessary for teaching, research and development.
  • Popularising the field of specialisation.

Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Experience in teaching medical students at university level in the field of specialisation in both the Estonian and English language. 
  • Knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning methods and learning environments (including digital ones) and their development opportunities.
  • Experience in supervising students and teaching e-courses is recommended.

Required language skills
Excellent command of Estonian. Command of English sufficient for professional communication.
