As part of CIMR, the Institute of Regenerative Biology and Medicine (IRBM) seeks outstanding scientists at all career levels to advance the understanding of repair and regeneration and develop novel therapeutics across all disease areas. We welcome researchers in diverse fields, including (but not limited to):

v  Developmental and stem cell biology

v  Disease immunology & autoimmunity

v  Ageing & extracellular matrix biochemistry

v  Regenerative model organisms

v  Computational biology & advanced tissue engineering

v  Cell/gene/antibody therapy for disease mechanisms

Preferred candidates will have experience in developing novel molecular and cellular technologies for therapeutic applications. Successful applicants will collaborate with clinicians at CMU-affiliated hospitals and gain access to extensive patient samples for basic and translational research.

Position Descriptions and Qualifications

1. Assistant Investigator

ü  PhD and/or MD degree

ü  Successful postdoctoral training

ü  Demonstrated potential to establish a strong independent research program

2. Associate Investigator

ü  Proven experience in leading an independent research lab

ü  Emerging recognition as a leader in the field

3. Investigator (Senior Level)

ü  Distinguished record of research achievements

ü  Established leadership in relevant scientific fields
