JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct lectures, tutorials and student consultations which include the supervision of laboratory work and projects for full-time and part-time students
- Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery (e.g. e-learning, self-directed learning etc.) through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods
- Adopt the use of IT resources for facilitation (where applicable)
- Evaluate curriculum design, development, delivery and assessment to enhance its effectiveness
- Prepare course and subject materials which include the setting of assignments, assessment and moderation of results
- Stay current and responsive to changing trends in the profession and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities
- Address the diverse learning needs of students in class and ways to develop students’ potentials holistically through a range of interventions
- Conduct and/or attend subject review and team meetings
- Tracking and maintenance of student attendance
- Involved in staff/student projects with industrial partners
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited qualification in Electrical/Electronics/Avionics
- At least 5 years of work experience in the aerospace MRO and/or Avionics industry
- Passed or willing to take and pass CAAS SAR-66 M3, M4 and M5 exams to be qualified Instructors for related subjects in AEL/AEG curriculum
- Experience and Competency in drone flying operations will be advantageous
- A team player with good communication skills and passionate in interacting with students
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and in meeting deadlines
