Part-Time Faculty – Architecture Design Studio (Fall 2026)

Position Details

• Type: Part-time, adjunct (PTI/Adjunct)

• Teaching Load: One 6-credit hour architecture design studio

• Start Date: Fall 2026 semester

• Salary Range: $27,000 – $30,000 per course

• FLSA Status: Non-exempt

• On-Campus Requirement: Regular in-person presence required

Responsibilities

• Develop and update syllabus

• Prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments

• Maintain office hours and meet all class periods

• Grade assignments and submit mid-semester/final grades

• Provide instruction aligned with course competencies and performance levels

Qualifications

Required:

• Professional degree in Architecture

• Advanced degree in Architecture or closely related design field

• Professional design experience and record of recognized research (built work, scholarship, publications, or exhibits)

Preferred:

• Teaching experience in an accredited professional architecture program

• Strong intellectual and artistic direction
