BIO SCI 37 Brain Dysfunction (Spring 2023)
This large lecture course is aimed at non-biological sciences majors, and covers the basics of brain anatomy, how the brain and cells within the brain work, and how brain regions and cells are impacted and become damaged and dysfunction in brain disorders due to neurodegenerative diseases, strokes and other brain injuries, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
The successful candidate will have an extensive academic background, including in the field of neurodegeneration, previous teaching experience of courses focused on neurodegenerative diseases as well as an advanced degree contributing to the areas of need. Salary is commensurate with experience.
