The Politics Department within the School of Social Sciences is looking to appoint a Lecturer in British Politics/Public Policy to support research and teaching, available from 1 September 2019. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialist expertise in governance, public policy impact, devolution, urban politics, parliamentary studies and British relations with Europe but we welcome high-quality applications from those across the whole field of British Politics/Public Policy.

You must have, or be about to complete, a relevant PhD (or equivalent) and demonstrate the potential to produce high-quality publications and to provide excellent teaching.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. As the School is committed to Athena SWAN principles, we would particularly welcome applications from women, who are currently under-represented at this grade. All appointments will be made on merit.
