The Department of Education at UCLA seeks applications for a full-time lecturer position to contribute to the Education and Social Transformation BA and the graduate program. The appointment is for one year. The teaching load will be eight one-quarter courses for the year with the addition of duties of an administrative or educational nature per the department chair’s discretion. The candidate will have primary responsibilities for teaching the Orientation to Community Engagement course, a required course for the undergraduate major. The candidate will also have responsibility for offering additional courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Candidates must have previous teaching experience and a doctorate in Education or a related discipline.
