The Department of Film and Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for part-time lecturer positions to teach on topics in upper division undergraduate courses in Film and Media Studies. Topics may include 1) Silent Cinema, 2) Topics in Film and Modern Media, 3) Topics in Broadcast Media, 4) Film and Media Theory, and 5) Writing on Film and Media during the fall, winter and spring quarters of 2020-2021 academic year. The full-time teaching load in the School of Humanities is eight courses per year; the annual full-time salary is $56,381.00, and the salary per course is $7,047.63.

Requirement - Applicants must have the Ph.D. in Film and Media Studies or a related field in hand by June 30, 2020. Three years of university-level teaching experience in Film and Media Studies is preferred.

Winter 2021
1/4/21 - 3/19/21

Spring 2021
3/24/21 - 6/11/21
