The Opportunity
Why this role matters
As a researcher and educator, you will conduct high quality research and make a significant contribution to educational excellence in the School of Population Health and the Faculty of Medicine & Health. The role will contribute to teaching of public health across the undergraduate medical curriculum.
Who you are:
You will have a medical degree and Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (or comparable international equivalent), and eligibility for registration as a specialist public health physician with AHPRA. Your extensive professional experience in public health medicine and/or related fields, as well as a higher degree in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience, will make you an asset in the role.
Your experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, will enable you to contribute to the teaching of public health across the undergraduate medical curriculum. Your experience in implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods will also be beneficial.
As someone with a demonstrated track record in research, you have a proven ability to produce outcomes of high quality and high impact. Your research has clear evidence of excellence, and you have the capacity for research leadership.
