Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Global Health in the Wolfson Institute of Population Health in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the School / Institute and wider institution. They will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, assessment and scholarly activity for postgraduate and undergraduate intercalated courses in Global Health, with a specific focus on Global Health theory and research methods.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in any social science discipline with a topic focus on Global Health or Public Health. They will also have evidence of high quality general or subject-specific pedagogical work published in appropriate renowned outlets / media. Moreover, they will have ability to deliver teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level with some guidance in the subject area of Global Health, along with clear and ambitious plans for future scholarship activities.

The post is based at the Whitechapel campus in London within the Centre for Public Health and Policy. It is a permanent appointment, full-time post (35 hours), with an expected start date of 1st March 2022. The starting salary will be £39,815 - £46,843 per annum (Grade 5).
