• An opportunity to assist in the management and coordination of postgraduate courses offered by the Division of Health Professions Education
• 12 month fixed-term appointment on a part-time (0.8FTE) basis
• Salary: Level B: $100,374 - $118,776 per annum plus superannuation

About us

Our division of Health Professions Education provides undergraduate education in health humanities and offers postgraduate health professionals a unique pathway to become qualified in teaching, course design, leading and implementing educational change, and conducting research in education as health professionals.

The division has considerable expertise and experience in designing and delivering tailor-made programs and intensive short courses, aimed at teaching health professionals and leaders in the health education sector. Our courses can be delivered both face to face and online.

About the opportunity

As the successful appointing, you will focus on coordinating and teaching units in Health Professions Education, undertaking educational research, supervising research students and assisting in the promotion of the courses and Division.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Health Professional
• A higher degree by research
• Demonstrated experience and skills in coordination and teaching in health professions education
• Research and publication track record commensurate with opportunity
• Ability to supervise postgraduate research students
• Demonstrated skills working in a team environment
