Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching courses on the first and second level of higher education studies as well as in in-service courses (including lectures, seminars and practicums) in the field of social-emotional learning and behavioural difficulties using contemporary learning approaches and educational technologies, related methodological, administrative and development work.
  • Supervising students’ research work.
  • Participation in research and development in the field of inclusive education.
  • Conducting projects for developing the field.
  • Collaboration with other units of the University of Tartu and with other universities focusing on teacher education in Estonia.
  • Continuous professional development in skills for teaching, supervising, research and development work.
Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Ability to teach and supervise students in the first two levels of higher education.
  • Ability to participate in research and development activities.
  • It is required that she or he has experiences related to prevention and treatment of behavioural problems and supporting students’ socio-emotional skills.
Required language skills
Excellent command Estonian, good English skills.
