Duties and responsibilities
- Teaching infectious diseases (in Estonian and English) for medical, dental and physiotherapy students, preparing teaching materials, lecturing at the CME courses.
- Supervising students of the first and second level of higher education and residents.
- Teaching development.
- Activities related to the administration and development of teaching.
- Participation in the research, development and creative activities of the structural unit.
- Research in five years at least in the volume equivalent to that of 2/3 of a doctoral thesis (at the workload of 1,0).
- Popularisation of the specialisation.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
- Lecturer must be highly qualified specialist in the field or in a closely related field.
- Ability to teach at the first two levels of higher education, incl. to supervise students of the first and second level of higher education.
- Earlier teaching experience in a higher education institution; experience in supervising students and teaching e-courses is recommended.
- Knowledge of modern study aids, learning environments, learning methods and their development opportunities.
- Internationally recognised professional research, the volume of which is equivalent to that of at least one doctoral thesis.
Required language skills
Estonian - very good in speaking and writing, English - adequate language skills for professional communication.
