Lecturer in Law - Arbitration in the United States

USC is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach Arbitration in the United States in Spring 2021.  This three-unit course introduces students to the key aspects of the law and practice of domestic commercial arbitration. Among other things, the course considers issues relating to the formation of arbitration agreements and their enforcement; the relationship between parties and arbitral institutions; the arbitration process, including the selection of arbitrators and the conduct of arbitral proceedings; and the relationship between arbitral proceedings and the courts. Candidates must have a JD and at least five years of experience in practice, including experience in the course’s subject area.
