  • Salary: Academic Level B ($115,303–$136,925) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements

  • Location: Melbourne CBD campus with hybrid working options


About You

As a Lecturer, you will contribute to the School’s teaching and research activities in your area of expertise. You will deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate, Masters, and Graduate Diploma programs, and will maintain and advance your scholarly, research, and/or professional profile. You will also promote the program by establishing and sustaining partnerships with academic, industry, and professional communities.

The role requires working collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to academic leadership where appropriate, and keeping your discipline knowledge current. You may also be responsible for coordinating courses.


To Be Successful in This Position, You Will Have:

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including online delivery, and to produce high-quality curriculum and program materials

  • Ability to undertake course coordination

  • Proven capacity to work effectively and sensitively with students, including in matters relating to learning support

  • An emerging track record of high-quality research outputs aligned with School and Discipline strengths, evidenced by publications, research initiatives, competitive funding, and/or industry engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise Higher Degree by Research candidates

  • Capacity to build effective networks with colleagues and secure external funding through industry and government engagement

  • Commitment to continuous improvement in teaching through contemporary pedagogical approaches, learning technologies, and reflective practice

  • Evidence of active engagement with academic, professional, or industry bodies, and the ability to foster partnerships that enhance teaching, research, or student employability outcomes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suited to working with HDR candidates, staff, and industry partners, with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated track record in interdisciplinary research relevant to the School of Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain
