Position Description

The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UHN/Sinai Health seeks a Clinician Teacher with expertise in general endocrinology, with a special interest in thyroid oncology, for a permanent position.

Key Points:

  • Provide clinical care and teaching for trainees in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.

  • Eligible for full-time clinical academic appointment at Lecturer/Assistant Professor rank.

  • Effective start date: July 1, 2026, or mutually agreed date.

  • Work within a combined division of 27 full-time members, with active clinical and research programs across all UHN and SH sites.


Candidate Requirements

  • MD and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation)

  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario

  • Advanced training or experience in the specified clinical expertise

  • Record of accomplishment in clinical care and/or teaching

Desired Outcomes:

  • Develop and maintain an active teaching program

  • Develop and maintain an active clinical program


Compensation

  • Estimated remuneration: $195,000 – $250,000 per year

  • Academic rank, salary, and contractual arrangements commensurate with experience and qualifications
