Job Overview

Applications are invited for the above permanent, whole-time post in the School of Medicine.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer above the bar in Medical Imaging to join the existing team. The successful candidate will:

  • Play a key role in teaching, research, and leadership

  • Support delivery of the 2-year MSc in Diagnostic Radiography

  • Develop and deliver the clinical curriculum, and coordinate elements of the postgraduate MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy online

  • Conduct research-led clinical and classroom teaching, develop new course offerings, supervise research, and participate in Discipline, School, and College Committees

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography

  • Experience in radiography education, practice education, and forensic radiography education

  • Applicants without a doctorate should be prepared to embark on a research trajectory including publications and completion of a PhD

Salary

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale:

  • Scale B: €79,976 – €103,545

  • Scale A: €76,091 – €98,394

Salary placement on appointment will follow public sector pay policy.
