These are new Education Focussed roles (EF) for academics within the UNSW Faculty of Medicine and Health. These roles will enable academics to focus on education and devote their time to designing and delivering high-quality offerings and resources (related to their discipline) which will, enhance the educational experience of our students, as well as driving educational excellence within the university’s teaching and learning communities. You’ll also work with the curriculum team to develop ‘best practice’ approaches across all parts of our medical program and across all our campuses, as well as looking at ways to enhance education across all the faculty’s education programs and. All roles report to the relevant Head of Discipline, with an indirect reporting line to Head of Clinical Campus.

Who you are

You have a medical degree, preferably with (or enrolled in) a PhD or specialist qualifications in the relevant clinical discipline area, as well as experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate or vocational level. Additionally, you can demonstrate your up-to-date discipline knowledge, educational pedagogy and professional development and evidence of your ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
