Lecturer in Microbiology

Qualifications: The minimum qualification is a PhD in Microbiology or a closely related field and publications in the relevant field. Postdoctoral and undergraduate teaching experience would be an added advantage.

Final selection will be made on the basis of scholarship and potential to contribute to the work and reputation of the School.

 

Expertise: A focused research interest in the fields of molecular microbiology, bacteriology, virology or applied microbiology/biotechnology is desirable.

 

Duties: Teaching all aspects of the discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, maintain an active research profile and participate in the administration of the School, Faculty and University.
