The Toronto Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) seeks a full-time Diagnostic Neuroradiologist for clinical, teaching, and research duties. The ideal candidate is an academic clinician with expertise in neuroradiology, committed to high-quality patient care, research, and education.
JDMI Highlights:
Affiliated hospitals: Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Sinai Health, Women's College Hospital
Advanced imaging infrastructure: 17 CT and 14 MR scanners, including research scanners (3T PRISMA, low-field MR, PET-MR)
Active in translational and clinical research in neurovascular imaging, functional imaging, neurodegenerative diseases, oncology, MR-guided focused ultrasound therapy
Provide clinical neuroradiology services across affiliated hospitals
Participate in academic activities: teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Engage in research: translational and clinical studies in neuroradiology
Collaborate with research institutes: Krembil Brain Institute, Techna hub, Vector Institute for AI
Contribute to service, quality improvement, and departmental initiatives
MD or equivalent
Certification in Radiology (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or equivalent)
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Minimum one-year neuroradiology fellowship training (ideally two years)
Eligibility for academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the appropriate rank
