- Provides evidence-based counseling services and follows case documentation protocols.
- Assesses students’ mental health needs andcategorizes them for appropriate interventionsbased on the Tiering system.
- Collaborates with other stakeholders foreffective service delivery.
- Implements mental healthemergency protocols and supports at-risk students.
- Conducts research and develops learningsessions, workshops, and relevant trainings.
- The counselor is expected to carry out dutiesand responsibilities that are germane to theprograms of the unit/office.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor or Registered Psychologist
- Must have an active track record of professional development initiatives
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Should possess a good moral character
