Job description

The Department of Sociology is looking for a committed and reliable academic to join our team as a Lecturer.The successful candidate will contribute to teaching on our core courses, including (but not limited to) helping to deliver core undergraduate sociology teaching.The successful candidate will be on our new unified academic pathway and will have a focus on education and scholarship.As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.As we currently have an under-representation in the Department of a number of groups – in particular BAME and LGBTQ+ we would particularly welcome applications from people who are members of these groups.
