Lecturer in Sociology

The Department of Sociology seeks instructors for Unit 18 Lecturer positions, pending administrative approval and funding, for the academic year 2022-2023. Positions are available for the following quarters:

Fall Quarter 2022 September 19 – December 9
Winter Quarter 2023 January 6 – March 24
Spring Quarter 2023 March 30 – June 15

Demonstrated experience in teaching, and advanced degree in Sociology or related discipline is required. During the 2022-2023 academic year we are in particular need of expertise in the area of critical law/crime. We will prioritize recent and current graduate students who have worked closely with the Sociology program at Davis.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
