The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s Global Jazz Studies IDP invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Instruction in Advanced Jazz Performance: Trumpet for Spring quarter of the 2020-21 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with teaching load.
Applicants should have advanced expertise in group and solo performance of a diverse mixture of Jazz trumpet at the university level. Responsibilities will include individual student instruction. University teaching experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree preferred.
