Monash University Faculty of Information has embarked on an exciting journey to become the best faculty of IT in the world. A key component of that journey is the strong team of cybersecurity.
The Monash cybersecurity research team mainly focuses on 3 key streams of areas; namely: cryptography, blockchain, and interdisciplinary cybersecurity applications. Led by experts in the underlying technology, with engagement from researchers from across the University and industry, and powered by expertise across the fields of machine learning and AI, digital health, energy, finance, and the social sciences, the team has delivered unprecedented development of disruptive cybersecurity technology, and represents one of the most impactful cybersecurity team in the world.
Monash University FIT is pleased to announce the opportunity for a talented and passionate academic to join our world-class team. As part of the teaching and research role, the successful applicant will contribute to at least one of the interdisciplinary cybersecurity research areas such as privacy-preserving machine learning, secure digital health, energy or IoT systems, and will engage in teaching, including the development of education resources and new course units; and research of cutting-edge cyber security technologies and practices.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
