We look for either well-respected industrialists with a research background, able to expand engineering professional practice within the school (Teaching & Professional Practice - T&PP route) or individuals with innovative pedagogical expertise in the delivery of engineering education to a diverse population at both undergraduate and taught postgraduate levels (Teaching & Scholarship - T&S route). Both posts have involvement in education delivery with 25% allocated time for scholarship or professional practise.

About You

Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant area, and/or equivalent track record in engineering management.

T&PP route: Applicants require a clear strategy to integrate and grow professional engineering practise within the school and augment our industrially focused impact.

T&S route: Applicants require a clear strategy to develop scholarship of teaching and learning in the wide area of engineering education.

A commitment to high-quality student education is essential, to develop and support our taught programmes, particularly in Engineering Management.
