Permanent Whole-time Post

Applications are invited for the above permanent whole-time Lectureship post in the Dept. of Anatomy & Neuroscience and APC Microbiome Ireland. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative lecturer in anatomy and microbiome science. The successful candidate will play a key role in teaching and supporting the development of the anatomy components of the new 2-year MSc Radiography programmes and in conducting cutting-edge clinical microbiome research in APC Microbiome Ireland. As well as having experience in clinical teaching and learning, the appointee will be expected to supervise student research and participate on department and college committees. Reporting to the Head of Dept. Anatomy & Neuroscience, applicants will demonstrate evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching, curriculum development in anatomy and applied anatomy. The candidate will be play a key role at the interface between the Dept. Anatomy and Neuroscience in the School of Medicine and APC Microbiome Ireland.

Appointment may be made on the Lectureship (A/B) Salary Scale €65,758-€84,550 per annum.

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
