UCC wishes to appoint an experienced professional to the role of Lectureship (Above the Bar) in Dementia and Older Person Rehabilitation. The Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation is part of the School of Medicine at UCC and is based on the campus of St Finbarr's Hospital in Cork City. The Centre’s core mission is to promote healthy ageing and to raise the standard of care for older people. Ongoing research is focused on advance care planning, palliative care in neurodegeneration, dementia and delirium, Parkinson’s Disease, and Health Service Research.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Above the Bar Salary Scale: pro-rata 50% of €65,758 - €84,550. Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
