The Global Management Studies Department in the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in International Business, effective July 1, 2026, subject to budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum development, particularly with expertise in business practices in the Middle East
Pursue a strong, innovative, externally funded Scholarly, Research, and Creative (SRC) program producing high-quality and impactful results
Engage in service to the Department, Faculty, and University while maintaining an inclusive, equitable, and collegial work environment
Candidates must:
Hold a PhD in International Business Management
Demonstrate research expertise and substantial professional experience related to business in the Middle East
Show evidence of emerging scholarly research with the potential for publication in top-tier journals
Present potential for teaching excellence, including a teaching dossier with philosophy statement, syllabi, evaluations, and awards
Demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in teaching, research, and service
Contribute collegially to the life of the Department and University
Falls under the jurisdiction of the Toronto Metropolitan Faculty Association (TFA)
Minimum salary: $103,916.30 per annum (Assistant Professor rank)
