PhD position available in the Faso lab at the Institute of Cell Biology

A position for a PhD candidate will become available from January 2023 in the Faso group at the Institute of Cell Biology of the University of Bern.

We study mechanisms of unconventional protein secretion at the host-parasite interface of parasitic protists using a range of methods in molecular and cell biology, including microscopy, proteomics and bioninformatics. Other ongoing projects in the group aim to translate research findings in novel diagnostic and co-culturing tools. The successful applicant will join a small and vibrant research team and will be part of the Graduate School for Cellular and Biomedical Sciences (GCB) at the University of Bern.
