Department Description

As part of a project funded by the Swiss Cancer League, we will conduct a multicenter clinical study with an eHealth intervention. For this project, we are looking for a doctoral student interested in behavioral aspects of chronic diseases and their coping. The intervention aims to reduce distress and improve the quality of life of people with cancer. Among other things, they are responsible for the development of the intervention, the recruitment of patients and the organization of the entire project with the support of a study nurse. The director of the institute and the head of research will gladly assist you in scientific tasks.

Requirements / Qualifications

You have a master's degree in social science (psychology, etc.) or an education in the context of health sciences. You have first experiences in conducting empirical studies and now would like to do your doctorate. Good quantitative knowledge, very good language skills (English required, French desired) and good management skills are important to us. You should be proactive in implementing a multi-center research project. You should have a good knowledge of Office applications, statistical software and literature management.
