The project is part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) Checkpoints of Central Nervous System Recovery - Transregio 274. The aim of the CRC is to understand the biology of the multicellular response that determines recovery after CNS injury. The CRC is embedded into the "Munich Cluster for Systems Neurology" (SyNergy) promoting integrative research into a broad range of neurological diseases, with the aim to improve pathomechanistic understanding and eventually therapeutic options.
