Prof. Huijin Xu at the China-UK Low Carbon College at Shanghai Jiao Tong University is inviting applications for a fully-funded post-doctoral associate position in the area of Low Carbon Energy (including Sustainable Energy Utilization, Energy Storage, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Physical Chemistry, and Engineering Thermo-physics). The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing subsidies.

Job Description

nSuccessful applicants will perform numerical, theoretical, and experimental studies in the area of Low Carbon Energy, such as Sustainable Energy Utilization, Energy Storage, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Physical Chemistry, and Engineering Thermo-physics.

Job Requirements

nPhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or related fields;

nExcellent hands-on experience and numerical modeling skills relevant to modeling transport process in porous media, energy storage, molecular simulation, LBM algorithm, Carbon Capture and Sequestration;

nGood publications record in the relevant field;

nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
