Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering and Biofunctional Materials in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref. 499802), to commence as soon as possible for three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in biomaterials engineering or a related filed, stem cells and mammalian cell culture, and in vivo studies using animal models.  They should be effective in communication and articulation of ideas, with excellent written and oral communication skills in English; be able to foster collaborations; have a capability for independent thinking; and be able to work independently in a dynamic team. 

The appointee will work for a research team in developing cell and advanced biomaterial-based strategies for the regeneration of dentin-pulp complex, periodontium, bone, neural, vascular, and other craniofacial tissues.  For further information, please contact Professor C.F. Zhang at
