A postdoctoral position in condensed matter experimental physics is immediately available in the Center for Molecular Magnetic Quantum Materials (M2QM) at the University of Florida. The successful candidate will work with Professor Arthur Hebard as part of a collaborative effort in the pursuit of Center goals.

The scope of work includes fabrication and characterization of thin films and thin film heterostructures incorporating chemically fragile magnetic molecules into the interface regions of heterogeneous junctions comprising semiconductors and/or two-dimensional layered materials. Experience with clean room and glove box protocols, exfoliation techniques and thin film growth together with characterization and low temperature measurements is desired.

This postdoctoral position supports two years of funding, with the possibility of extension to a third year upon mutual agreement.The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package.
