Posting Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks highly motivated candidates for a PostDoctoral Associate position in the area of Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC).
The successful candidate will join a dynamic research environment and contribute to advancing next-generation integrated communications and sensing technologies.
This is a grant-funded appointment contingent upon the availability of funds to support it.
The position reports to Prof. Athina Petropulu.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in integrated sensing and communications systems.
- Develop novel theoretical frameworks, algorithms, and signal processing techniques for sensing and wireless communications.
- Publish research findings in leading journals and conference proceedings.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and external research partners.
- Contribute to proposal development and the advancement of the department’s research initiatives.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students as appropriate.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates should possess:
- A demonstrated record of high-quality research in sensing, wireless communications, signal processing, or related areas.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Evidence of scholarly productivity, including publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to collaborative research projects.
- A strong motivation to pursue innovative research and push the boundaries of the state of the art.
