Position: Doctoral Candidate in 4D Tomographic Image Reconstruction (f/m)
Project: MSCA Doctoral Network project X-CELERATE (www.x-celerate.org)

Actively work on the preparation of a PhD thesis in 4D Tomographic Image Reconstruction.
Research focus: develop novel 4D image reconstruction methods for X-ray imaging of dynamic objects.
Integrate physics models, CAD information, and region-based prior knowledge to estimate deformation parameters and enhance image quality in 4D CT.
Disseminate findings through high-impact publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
Participate in training activities and research secondments with MSCA partner institutions across Europe.
Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related studies (or obtained by start date).
Excellent academic results.
Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
Eligible under general MSCA criteria: must not have resided or carried out main activity in Belgium for more than 12 months in the last 36 months before recruitment.
Strong communication skills in English.
Fully funded doctoral scholarship for up to four years.
Monthly scholarship amount according to standard doctoral scholarship rates.
