Title Postdoctoral Fellow in the Study of Human History Through Ancient DNA
School Faculty of Arts and Sciences
Department/Area Human Evolutionary Biology
Position Description
We are seeking applications for a full-time postdoctoral position in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology and/or the Department of Genetics. The position is initially for one year but with reappointment for additional years contingent upon satisfactory performance and review. The start-date is flexible.

We are searching for highly motivated researchers to join our group to study the population history of Holocene human populations worldwide. Successful candidates will have a strong interest in population history and in exploring questions about how humans moved, interacted, and adapted.

This candidate will be able to identify open research questions (often inspired by archaeological, anthropological, or historical research) that are possible to explore with genome-wide ancient DNA data, and will have access to some of the world’s best new genetic data as well as large public datasets to explore these questions.
