The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels I-IV) for the 2023-24 academic year.
Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the following biomedical engineering fields:
Synthetic Biology
Biomolecular Evolution
These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology and experience in the focus research area(s) listed above.
This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for a two-year period and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience. Minimum annual salary range – $60,000.00 to $77,732.00.
