Job description:

Scientific service in teaching and research in the field of econometrics; planning and teaching of undergraduate and graduate student courses (BA, MA and PhD courses) in the field of applied and theoretical econometrics in German and English; participation in the organization of the MA program statistics; counseling of students as well as supervision of Bachelor and Master theses

Requirements:

Completed university degree and PhD in economics, statistics or mathematics or a related field with specialization in econometrics/statistics; at least three years of academic or professional practical work in a full-time employment relationship after graduation; a strong background in the following fields: time series analysis or microeconomics; substantial knowledge of the software R and Stata; experience in academic teaching, counseling and supervision of students; publications in relevant journals; very good German and English skills (oral and written); structured, independent, communicative and cooperative work style, highly motivated; active participation in university development processes
