Biochemist Postdoctoral position in Experimental Immunology

The Department of Biomedicine Experimental Immunology research group at the University Hospital Basel in Switzerland has a postdoctoral research position for a Biochemist available from 1st September 2020 for 3 years to study MR1T cells in cancer 1-3.
The Experimental Immunology research group is a well-established team with expertise in Immunology and it has a strong collaboration with clinicians at the University Hospital in Basel and with academic and industrial partners worldwide.

Your position

The candidate will be involved in the study of cancer cell metabolites stimulating MR1T cells and will also collaborate with a group expert in mass-spectrometry of small molecules.

Your profile

A PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Immunology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences is required. The successful candidate will have a proven experience in biochemistry, have demonstrated the ability to work independently and will be a team player with excellent communication and writing skills. Knowledge of metabolomics is of advantage.
