The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for up to three Postdoctoral Scholar positions in the Gorodetsky Group.
The successful candidates will contribute to research on molecular and cellular biology relevant to cephalopod-inspired materials. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Molecular biology
Recombinant protein expression
Cell biology and cellular engineering
Mammalian cell culture, particularly in relation to bioelectronic devices
Candidates with expertise in mammalian cell culture and bioelectronic applications are especially encouraged to apply.
Basic Qualifications (required at time of application):
Ph.D. in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular and Cellular Biology, or a related field, conferred by the time of hire.
