The Management of Organization and Entrepreneurship & Innovation groups are in search of a postdoctoral scholar expected to:
∙ Under the mentorship of your faculty sponsor, collect and analyze data to understand the rate of direction of academic science, including understanding the role of different types of data access on scientific output.
∙ Take lead in writing joint research projects emerging from the data and analysis
∙ Liaison with funding agencies and help with writing for future related grants and funding opportunities.
∙ Play a lead role on research projects of PI, including project management and meeting attendance.
∙ Manage the work of research associates and/or undergraduate students, who provide analytic and relationship support on
some projects.
∙ Be the primary point of contact with the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) for the activities of the project. The postdoc will
manage those relationships, provide required documents on time, and attend meetings with stakeholders when necessary.
∙ Help designing, pre‐testing, administering, and analyzing the data of a novel survey of academic researchers
• Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree), or enrolled in a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) granting program at the time of application.
• Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) required by start date
• No more than four years of post-degree research experience
PhD (or equivalent international degree) in Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
∙ Experience in the design of survey data collection, statistical analysis, and data visualization strategies
∙ Capable of identifying, communicating, and solving problems when integrating heterogeneous data
∙ Extensive experience communicating data analysis to a wide range of skill levels and audiences
∙ Fluency in data analysis with statistical software like Stata, R, or Python.
