Position Description

The Virology Division in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington School of Medicine is recruiting a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Scholar to study protective immune responses in human skin and mucosal surfaces against viral pathogens, including human herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection. The candidate must have a strong desire to develop cutting-edge technology. The research program seeks to expand the development of 3-D ‘tissue organoids’ and/or ‘organ-on-chip’ platforms based on our current ‘skin-on-chip’ microfluidic device with advanced microvascular network.
