At the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, a professorship in health psychology in the form of a private law employment relationship is to be filled at the earliest opportunity. The employment takes place according to § 98 UG. An evaluation of the professorship takes place after 5 years.

The future job holder should represent the subject of health psychology, especially with a focus on technology and / or economics in research and teaching in the field of psychology. We are looking for a personality who is internationally recognized as far as possible in the subject and in at least one of the above-mentioned areas. Experience with the successful acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects is expected. Likewise, a relevant teaching experience and proof of didactic competences (eg through teaching evaluations, held courses in English) is required. The ability to connect to the research activities of other professorships of the Institute for Education and Psychology is desirable. It will be the participation in the WS 19/20 starting Master of Psychology.

Prerequisites are a habilitation in the field of psychology or a comparable internationally recognized qualification.

There is a voluntary agreement for a salary above the collectively agreed minimum salary of currently € 71,822.80.
