Lead innovative research in pharmacology bridging fundamental mechanisms with clinical and translational applications.
Supervise PhD candidates, postdocs, and junior faculty.
Contribute to teaching at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels.
Engage in academic leadership and departmental strategy.
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and mentoring.
Balance of approximately 50/50 between research and teaching.
Conduct internationally visible, innovative research in pharmacology.
Secure national and international research funding.
Lead curriculum innovation and coordinate teaching.
Mentor researchers and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Contribute to departmental strategy and governance.
PhD in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, or related field.
Recognized expertise in pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics.
Proven track record in research funding and academic leadership.
Extensive teaching experience in research-driven and active learning approaches.
International research experience in one or more of: Neuro-/Psychopharmacology, Immunopharmacology, Experimental Pharmacology.
Proficiency in English (C1+); willingness to learn Dutch if not already proficient.
Full professor appointment, chair subject to evaluation after five years.
Salary: €7,202 – €10,441 gross per month (full-time, CAO NU H2 scale).
8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus.
