Clinical Pharmacology at Uppsala University focuses on:
Individualized drug therapy
Evaluation of effects, adverse effects, and interactions of medicinal products
Rational use of medicines
Teaching across multiple programs (medicine, nursing, biomedical analysis)
Research spanning national and international collaborations
Lead and develop research in clinical pharmacology
Contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral education
Supervise doctoral students and develop the research environment
Secure external research funding
Clinical work as a specialist physician in clinical pharmacology at Uppsala University Hospital
Stay updated in the field and collaborate with healthcare sector and society
Master of Science in Medicine and Swedish specialist certificate in clinical pharmacology

Eligibility for professor appointment under Swedish Higher Education Ordinance (demonstrated research and teaching competence)
Documented ability to teach in Swedish and English
Research expertise: international-level publications, grant acquisition, and doctoral supervision
Teaching expertise: demonstrated experience and formal academic teacher training (≥10 weeks), including doctoral supervisor training
Clinical expertise: proven skills in patient care and clinical development
Leadership, administrative, and collaboration skills
