The tender is aimed at health and healthcare scientists or related qualifications. Following your qualification, preferably in health and paediatric care, you have several years of professional experience in the field of paediatric care.


Your professional and theoretical focus lies on both evidence-based care in a clinical context (neonatology, paediatric oncology, paediatric intensive care...) and health promotion and prevention in children and adolescents, taking special consideration of the family system. Additional competencies in the combination of theory and practice, the creation of work-related learning (at the practice learning site and in the Skills Lab), as well as educational sciences, complete your profile.




In accordance with §47 LHG, a completed university degree, special scientific qualification (usually PhD), pedagogical aptitude, as well as at least five years of professional experience, of which at least three years were obtained outside a university environment. Willingness to participate in scientific development, in particular research and scientific training, is expected. We expect a high level of commitment, willingness to cooperate with the participating companies and social institutions as well as the willingness to perform committee work. 


If all requirements are met, an appointment as civil servant with unlimited tenure is possible, after three years of civil servant on probation, under the condition that at the time of entry, the applicant is not older than 47 years, or in exceptional cases, 52 years. The DHBW aims to increase the proportion of woman in teaching and research positions, therefore applications from woman are encouraged.
