The Pennsylvania State University, Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), University Park, PA has four Psychologist 2 positions starting August 6, 2020. Duties include individual and group psychotherapy, initial consultations and triage, assessment, outreach and consultation, and crisis intervention. These positions are intended to focus on accruing supervised clinical hours for licensure as a psychologist. Typically requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference is given to candidates who have experience providing services to diverse populations, such as, but not limited to, underrepresented students, international students, and sexually and/or gender diverse students. APA accredited training/internship, and counseling center experience preferred. A one-year, full-time doctoral internship in professional psychology is required to be completed by the position start date. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are 3 to 4 hours from State College and Baltimore is about 3 hours. State College and the university provide the major intellectual, cultural and recreational resources for central Pennsylvania.
